I want to use a face frame but just one part of it, in my case I need to use the bottom rail. I am having difficulty deleting the other parts, I cant seem to loose the other 3 sides, so I constantly have all four sides of the face frame, so how do you delete the sides to leave 1?

I do not quite understand face frames completely. I have been trying to use Mortise/Tenon for the face frames in some of my cabines. Every time I press ok, nothing happens. When I open construction settings again, the face frames are back to butt.
Is it something wrong that I am doing or what?

Rick,
Thanks for your reply.
I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or I am not going to the right place. But every time I fix it, for some reason, never fix on my drawings, and when I go back to look, sure enough, the it was all back to butt.

Hey Dan,
No, I am actually referring when I am building the cabinet. Right now I am working on a drawer base. I am working in the main area of the cabinet editor, I open constructions settings and fix several parts of my cabinets; back, deck, sides, etc; there I try to fix the face frame an that where everything takes place.

To change a face frame, you must go into the Face Frame Editor first then open Construction Settings. When you go back to the Main Workspace, the changes will show up.
