A way to 'connect' display boards to cabinet?

Post by Stephen Skidmore »

I have a cabinet and added a 3/4" spacer between 2 cabinets in my multi-cabinet assembly. Great, no problem. Unless I need to copy a cabinet and resize it. The spacers won't move in and out in relationship to the cabinet even if I use the associate command. (What is the benefit of the that command?)

Any thoughts on how to accomplish this?

Stephen,

The benefit of the Associate to Cabinet command is that your spacer would not save with the cabinet without it.
At this point though, display parts associated to cabinets will not move when re-sizing a cabinet.

Use the Alignment tool or highlight your part and set the move increment to position your part.
