Dimension display

Post by leigh mills »

Hi guys,

I am having a problem with the dimensions, I have set the dimensions to metric (mm) but when going over a certain height it goes to metres. On version 5.1 there wasnt a problem with this but I am facing this problem now.

This is a problem when I create a cut list, as I have created a hardware spreadsheet to only accept mm.

Is there a way I can change this?

Thanks,

Leigh,
What part types are giving you the Meter dimension? Is it board, banding, sheet stock, ect? And what is the dimension that will reproduce the error? (ie. anything over 800mm ????)

You may try posting the file so we can take a look at it.

its strange because I just tried it on the room layout area and the problem occured yet when I entered the nest diagram area and created a cut list it was how I wanted it.

I noticed this too, and am not very crazy about it. Anything over 999mm goes to meters, i.e. 1099mm shows as 1.099m. Sure it's easy to convert, but it's even easier not to. Could we please have a way to show only millimeters, or does this exist and I've missed it?

BTW Todd, it seems that everything shows this way; walls, cabinets, cabinet parts, etc.

Thanks!

I agree, showing in millimetres is definitly the way to go.Seems that the only area this happens is in the L.D.E. Would be great if the programmers could get this sorted

Has anybody found a solution on this matter yet? I am 100% that this didnt happen in version 5.1 because I created a spreadsheet which interacts with ecabinets but this wont work now in version 5.2 as I set it to read (mm).

Does anybody have any information.

Leigh
