Base cabinets / detached toes

Post by Walt Neu »

I was starting to think version 5.2 was something I could learn but..
I'm trying to make some changes in a kitchen I designed but the some of the base cabinets refuse to get on their detached bases and if they do then they won't get closer than about 2" to the range. It worked before and I haven't changed the settings. I already thought the snap ability / accuracy of the wire frame was real iffy.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Walt

Hi Walt go to settings/preferences>define standard dimensions>appliance to cabinet clearance-re set the distance and press update then go to base cabinet mounting height and do the same thing. You can also go to an elevation view in custom layout highlight your cabinet>check freestyle on placement options>click on the relevant box for top-bottom-left or right>re-set the distance >press enter. However this will only change the position of the cabinets you are working on .All new cabinets that are brought into the job will be placed according to settings/preferences
