Hi Guys,
I have just came accross the saw blade kerf in the cutting list, just a bit currious to what this is used for! Can a file be generated to send to a saw? if so is this any saw?
If anyone has any info on this it would be great to know.

The saw blade kerf is there to help get an accurate cut list. If you needed two 24" wide rips on a sheet of plywood that is only 48" wide, you couldn't do it. You need to figure in the saw kerf to figure how much waste you are going to have. Just like on the router, depending on what size outline tool you use and how large the collar is will determine what the maximum size part you will be able to get out of a sheet of material. If you have a sheet of material 48" wide and your saw blade kerf is 1/8", you would only be able to get two 23 15/16" rips assuming the factory edge is being used. If the factory edge is not to be used that is where the collar comes into play.
