Old off-fall with new CN update

Post by Jeremy Schiffer »

Another thing we discovered today is that with the new CN, when using off-fall created with a previous version, it is shifting the parts off of the piece towards machine home by about an inch in both X and Y. I don't know if this is an issue with off-fall created with the new version of CN.

Jeremy,

Can you email me at program@thermwood.com with the export from your machine and the job that caused the issue.

I've tested this with a few different files and am not seeing anything in the code that is making it move in the x or y like you stated. One thing it could easily be is if you or someone else has set the fence location in the settings to the G902 location and then are loading the material into the G901 location??

Hi Daniel,

We'll check further and see if we can figure it out. I'm sure the settings haven't been changed.

I'll let you know what we find out.
