Angled sides on a cabinet

I have include a .dxf file of microvallum nest of a microwave cabinet with angled sides. I am just wondering is somethig like this possible to creat in eCabinets? If it is, how can i do it? If not, is it going to be possible in the future?

You can make this in eCabinets by taking the ends into the Part Editor and removing the areas that are not needed.

If you want, you can take the DXF and use whatever parts you wish in Contour Mode of the Part Editor to create the ends.

I know that. I guess i was not clear enough. I was hopping that there is a way to do this automaticaly, something that would take only few seconds.

I turned off some layers in your drawing and used the .dxf to cut one of your parts. (I had to clean up the .dxf to close the contour) but I would think I could copy the other layers to get the machining.

We are using microvallum and eCabs, however we have a lot of problems with microvallum. The nest that i attached is a job done in microvallum, but we have trouble cutting from microvallum. i know i can get the .dxf into the PE, but i was hoping that there is a function that can do this as a cabinet, without having to go to PE.

If the ends are any shape other than rectangular, you have to use the Part Editor.

I don't know for sure but I think you would have to do it a part at a time using .dxf's or create the cabinet in eCabinets.

If you don't mind my asking. Why dont' you just do this in eCabinets instead of using Microvellum?

I am using microvellum only because it is a lot easier to make the cabinet there than in eCabs. Once i make the cab in microvellum, i might as well cut it from there, it save a step where i would have to take the .dxf created in microvellum and importing it in eCabs.
