How can I tell if I have Microsoft PowerPoint
The computer is about 4 months old
When I get (some attachments) in the mail now it tells me I need Microsoft PowerPoint
I all ways could open all my attachments when I first got my new computer now for about 3 weeks it tells me I need Microsoft PowerPoint for some of my Microsoft PowerPoint.
Could someone help me on this
You don't need the full Microsoft PowerPoint program in order to view .pps presentations. Microsoft has a free viewer that you can download from their website. The latest handles PowerPoint 97 to 2007 files. Here is the link:
If you have Office 2007 it should have come with Ppt. Microsoft Office, I think, always has Ppt as part of the package. If you have Office then you can open your programs list and look under Microsoft Office and it should be there. If you don't have Microsoft Office then go with Brad's advice. I use the free viewer on this laptop but on our desktop we have Office 2007.

Thank You
If you don't have MS Power point than just download OpenOffice.org and it will handle everything you need.
