Banding drawer box parts

Post by Joe Dusel »

Is there currently a way of banding drawer box parts in the eCabs software? I am assuming not. Maybe this is something that will come when we get part editing for the drawer box parts.

Hi Joe,
No there is no way of allowing for edgeband on drawer parts. There is no way for labels to be printed for the edger. You can't do any adjustments to any of the parts for cutouts or handle grips. I don't think you can even drill holes in the part if you wish to screw it. No costing for edging carried through to cost list.
This seems a bit strange when really its just a box like a frameless overhead cabinet. I didn't think this would be that hard to do programming time wise.
But if you wish to dovetail it, no problem?

I don't think this is in Version 6 though? Maybe I'm wrong.

Hope you are keeping busy work wise. I'm keeping busy trying to get busy.

Regards

Neville
