import dxf files from autocad 04

Post by Mike Rachow »

Can I pull a cabinet from autocad04 into ecab and be able to modify and build this cabinet on a Thermwood router. Also will I be able to view this cabinet in the parts editor?
Thanks

Hi MIke,
You can take a dxf file from auto cad straight to the router, but you cannot take it into e-cabs and alter it using e-cabs.

Mike,

I have used AutoCad regularly to draw intricate shaped parts and then import the dxf file into eCabinets. You can also download thousands of free dxf files online and import into eCabinets to be machined into parts.
