I forgot to point out that Mastercam Design LT (lite) is a product that Thermwood should be able to supply you. Contact Brent East at Thermwood.

Re: Converting segment to arcs
Ray,
Mastercam Design LT also has the ability to "convert" any parametric splines into tangential lines and arcs. Should run you less than $300 USD. Design LT does not have any CAM functionality, but it is fine for the creation/modification of layered DXF files. If you do later move up to the full ...

Re: Nesting into Cross-Grain Material
Rick,
While your "True Fix" is needed by many, it is not the "True Fix" that I believe that Georgi was looking for in his original posting in this particular thread. His issue dealt with having cross-grain material (material where the grain runs across the width of the sheet) and needing to take ...

Re: Two CS45 for sale
Dennis,
You are correct as was my initial "temporary fix with a twist". But, as I pointed out, that is really a "work around" for the situation that Georgi is faced with depending on what material he has available for the job - long or cross grain sheets. Also, the "funky" cabinets with the rotated ...

Re: Part Editor & Constraint manager
Steve,
I reviewed your cabinet and I think that the main issue was that the part itself had been re-sized to 29.875" wide within the constraints manager - meanwhile the "cabinet" that contained it was only 24.5" wide. Since the widths did not "match" you could not re-size. I just reset the width ...

Re: Two CS45 for sale
I have spoken with Georgi on the phone and here is the low-down:
He wants to keep the grain direction of his parts as is - meaning that the grain runs along the height and length of his standard components. But they want to nest the components in a direction across the width of the sheet of ...

Re: Two CS45 for sale
Georgi,
What exactly do you mean by - "...can't cut short grain material."?
Can you explain in more detail what it is you are trying to accomplish? (Besides getting someone's attention... :?: :? )
Do you mean: "Automatically rotate parts by 90 degrees that were originally assigned to a 'long ...

Re: Call label does not exist
Dan,
I would assume that you did not have this issue BEFORE your Hard Drive Retro... Am I correct?
There is a setting in the machine MSU that instructs the controller to scan the complete program for CALL LABELs (M80L#). Back when you machine was first released, this setting was set to NO. CNC ...

Neville,
The directory paths for the old and new versions were posted early in other posts. I had gathered those and placed them in a PDF for our staff and clients. I have attached it here.
I am not sure if this is what you were looking for, but... If not, please elaborate and I will try and take ...

Mark,
Try putting the door(s) on first and then adding the fixed shelves.

Re: Non-Manifold Body
I am guessing, but sounds like the operation would result in two separate "bodies" in the same "part".
Sounds to me that you are actually trying to change the overall shape of the part. This can be done in two ways (that I can think of):
1) Cut AWAY sections of the part.
2) Create a closed ...
