nice idea about the wasteboard to not stress out the motor!! i am guessing i just need a router bit that has a cutting length greater than the material i am cutting than i am goog to go. tks for the tips.

I am trying to cut some support legs for a top i am making and the legs have to be two piece of 3/4 MDF with Plastic Laminate on both sides, giving me a material about 1.75\" thick. My question is has anyone ever cut anything this thick before? What bits were used? What kind of feed speed? Any help ...

Need a little help here..... I was trying to find the place to put my pieces when i flip them but when i went to go test this theory my router plunged into my wasteboard totally ignoring my wasteboard settings. So i guess i am asking to things 1)How do i find out where to put my part when i flip it ...

when i nest a job it shows me what sheets i have etc i print them out so i know what it is cutting on what sheet. then i go to sheet six on this particiular jod and it is back panels to the cabinets and it it giving me drilling operations. it should only be doing two dados then outlining the pieces ...
