How do I make an arched top part using the part editor. I know how to make a part with an arched bottom by defining the arc and then cutting it away. For the arched top, I can define the arch that I want, but how do I cut away outside of the arc instead of inside?
Thanks, Mark

Pattern direction on countertops
Is there a way to change the pattern/grain direction in the new countertop function? I know I could use a display cube, but the countertop function is sooo... easy to use.

Best way to make columns
What's the most efficient way to make columns for cabinet corners (or for fireplace surround). I'm not concerned with fluting or anything fance, just say a 4x4 column with base and top molding. I'm also not too concerned about cutlist or drawing accuracy, just a nice looking picture.
Thanks, Mark

Thanks Dan. The files are on the Yahoo server but some get damaged. On my fourth call to Yahoo I got someone a bit more helpful, and although no one still seems to know the cause of the problem, they directed me to Yahoo's online file manager where I can individually load files rather than publish ...

Yahoo sitebuilder software
I realize this is off topic, but there seem to be a few computer gurus hanging around here. (Moderators - if its too far off base, feel free to whack it)
Anyway, is anybody using or know anything about Yahoo Sitebuilder software?
I used it a few years ago to first make up a website. Now I'm trying ...

Wall cutout size
How do you adjust the size of a cut-out in a wall?
I can place the cut-out, but its 10x10 and I can't find how to re-size.
Thanks, Mark

Being a newbie, I probably shouldn't even chime in with Dan and Kerry, but...
Couldn't you define a material to be used just for the decks and cost it at say $.65 / sq in (your 15.50 / lin in / 24\" deep) and then set all the other construction material to 0? This would give you $15.50 per lin in ...
