Re: Crash when leaving presentation view
Thanks Rick.
I had actually tried to use the Nvidia only and it still crashed. I went back and set it to use integrated graphics and so far it has worked. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
If set to use the Nvidia only, there are many settings for it. Is there a way to figure out how these should be ...

Crash when leaving presentation view
I've downloaded the last update and when I leave the presentation view, the program crashes. I've also downloaded the last driver update for my video card.
I've attached the job that I encountered the problem with, but have had the same problem with other jobs. Has anyone run into this yet? Fixes?

Gene,
We have discovered an issue with the Pull Detail option in the presentation view causing a crash situation. Please try the following and see if it takes care of your situation as well. Go to the Render View area, then select the Presentation Settings button on the left. Set the Pull Detail ...

The last driver update that Dell has for the FX 2500M is from 2007, and I have it downloaded and installed.

Presentation view causes ecabinets to shut down
I downloaded build 13 on Thursday and had a problem with ecabinets going to a white screen and not responding when I loaded a job. A call to Thermwood fixed the problem by checking the "Use hoops double buffering" box in settings and preferences.

Re: Wierd happenings
Here is the 2nd job this has happened with. I followed the same process to get this.
1. Load job
2. Choose cabinet
3. Take it to the LDE
4. Hide all doors, drawer fronts, back and toe kick
5. Dimension cabinet and add notes
6. Add table
7. Print
8. Return to the custom layout

RIck,
I have tried to upload the job, but it must be too big (7.02MB) even after zipping it. I can email it to you in the morning and post here the steps I took if that works for you.

Wierd happenings
I have been having some wierd things happening since updating to version 6, but this is definitely odd. I took a cabinet to the line drawing editor to dimension, and when I came back to the room layout, this is what I had.

Copy and Paste in LDE
Is anyone else having trouble with pasting in the LDE? If I am doing 1 or 2 cabinets, I usually export the cutlist to Excel, rearrange it, then copy and paste it to my line drawings. I have tried on 2 different jobs and the paste feature is not working. I can copy and paste cabinets in the LDE, but ...

Neal,
I save my job files on a thumb drive. I open Ecabinets, click on load existing job, then right click on the job file. In the box that pops up, go to Send To, then to the thumb drive I use. A box always pops up saying the drive will not handle this type of file, but the jobs are always on the ...

Re: Things go buggy after countertops......
I have had this happen several times. Those extra tops have always been a part of one of the cabinets in the job. Usually a top or the back of a cabinet. If you go to the counter top editor, then return, the extra parts will dissappear.

I read something on this the other day. If I remember correctly, 30% of the hospitals in the US are Catholic hospitals. Their response to the passage of this bill will be to close all their hospitals since it would force them to perform abortions.
