Can I use the edge bander marks on labels with Rhino or is that only available with eCabinets?
With the Qcore upgrade, does a c40 then become a "smart router"?

Re: control upgrade
Info on the QCore says it's "Configured to perform 5 axis simultaneous motions". What does this mean? Does this make our CS40 into a true 3-axis machine? All three axis' can move at the same time?
Can you manually set a wasteboard thickness?
also, where can I find info on the "heavier pins"?

Re: Layers
Make sure the problem isn't because the material you select isn't the same thickness as the z#p### layer in the dxf file. this will throw a an error when nesting.
Excuse me if this has already been covered.

Re: Radius Compensation
We've had this problem for years. In our case, it stems from the fact that our cad software, Rhino, outputs the dxf file in 8 decimal places, while Thermwood only reads 4. The fourth decimal place is either rounded up or down depending on Rhino's 5th decimal. So, when we get the "line to arc ...

Timer Question
The timer used to pop up at the end of the program. Now it asks for a start button push before it pops up. Does the timer keep running until the start button is pushed or does it stop when it reaches that line of code with "timer" in it?

Re: Trouble shooting atomatic oil system
We too have found that some of our rails get more oil than others. You should be able to see a very thin film of oil on your rails. Not dripping wet, but visible. Pull the oiler hoses off one by one and point them at a piece of glass or mirror and you will see a slight halo of oil on the glass if it ...

Re: Spindle Speed Problem
We have the same problem with the tool using the previous tool's rpm at first. We were using a dry erase pen in a tool holder to mark for the edge bander, and the pen would spray ink if it came after a high speed tool. Have since switched to a pencil, but hard to see on some product.

Re: Locating pins
Went ahead and bought some cheap 5/8 pillow blocks from Ebay. $5 each. Some military surplus shafts with 5/8 threaded ends. Another $30. Already had some 3/4 Delrin. About $100 all told with mounting hardware. took all day. Threaded the delrin so I could fine tune the position.

Re: Bar code labels
No, we make several off-falls throughout the day. The only way to find them again is to write down the date and time on the label and go thru the off-fall list to find it. Like I said, PITA

Josh,
I don't quite understand how modifying CR will bring back the off fall bar code label number. Am I missing something easy?

Invalid characters
While doing a sheet flip operation, we get a warning of invalid characters in the current IEA (EIA, AEI, IAE, EIEIO?) block. It's in the "Print ..." line and there's an extra bracket or quotation mark or something. Any one else getting this? Any fix coming? To keep running, it's a mouse click and 4 ...
