This begs the question "Can you build it?" Of course I'm just kidding but for some funny reason it sort of reminded me of a current commercial on TV with a guy jumping off a bridge with wing on and everyone shouting "he can fly...he can fly" and this old guy walks by shaking his head saying "but he can't swim".
How do you make the arched tops, with flex panels or do you laminate your own with a jig (showing my age again)?
Come on Dan your not much older than me. Can you say vacuum. I had the luck of working on Yacht a few years back and these guys know vacuum. I think in 6 months I learned 15 years of knowledge. I used to use male/female forms and what a pain.

Build it! I just figured out how to DRAW the blame thing. Too low tech for fancy stuff, think will use bendy board, and then skin. (Any offers to make the arches?)
Jon, you can buy half circle 5/8\" in standard sizes but I have never been real happy with them. If you want to send me the info on what you need I will quote you or send you in the right direction. Also do curved molding to match.

Jon,
Good work on the rendering. The design is elegant but I would be nervous about using flex-wood since there is little support for the arch, especially during moving to the site. I would use a rigid arch. Try these folks for rigid arches pre-molded in 5/8\" plywood......... http://aitwood.com/StoreFront.Asp?WoodT ... 20degrees)
Excellent delivery service from stock. Make sure you specify that both inside and outside surfaces will be exposed and veneered. Cost with shipping should be around $100 + or -.
See attached pix of one being glued up into a top library cabinet for a sloped ceiling. Full rendering is shown under \"Cherry Library\" in this section.
