Brian,
I am copying an idea for a hood from Jon Giordano's web site. I thought it was a nice design. I should have the eCabinet drawings done tomorrow and I will post them if you like the design. That link is to a Flash presentation so you will have to scroll through a couple of pictures to see the hood.
I couldn't get any of the galleries to work--they all gave Javascript errors for me.
Is this someone you know Kerry? You might want to pass on to him that he misspelled \"styles\" as \"stiles\" on the Styles page. The menu is correct but the page is not. It is too nice of a website for that type of mistake.
Dan,
Jon just posts on another forum that I visit. He and one of the guys from his shop built that web site and when they first launched it they used a song by Andrea Bocelli (Con te Partiro) for the background music. The flash movie was choreographed perfectly with the song. It was spectacular. I don't know why he changed it unless there were royalty questions.
The link I posted should download a .swf file.
Kerry
It is a very nice site but it sure takes a long time to load up.
The link works but I get the Javascript errors after it finishes loading. It says it is missing an object. It could be my IE security settings (and probably is) since IE7 changed them so much with all of the new filters and all.
I think they built the site using Swish and not Macromedia products. That probably slows things down some. I use Coffeecup software to create my Flash movies and Galleries and they don't have all of the Pre-loaders etc so it makes things run slow. Like anything else the best tools create the best product.

Brian,
Here is the assembly for the vent hood. I didn't get all the details worked out but you can get the idea. You should be able to re-size everything. I made it fit a Dacor 30\" insert which I did a mock-up so I could see how it fits.
Kerry
Here is a shot of the back side of the hood showing how the hood insert fits. My customer had originally wanted a Vent-a-Hood insert which was a really tight fit but changed to this Dacor.
That is the great thing about eCabinets, making sure everything fits before you start to build.

Kerry,
When I save the file to my new cabinets folder it says it is an invalid file type.
Am I doing something wrong?
I save to desktop, unzip, save to new cab file folder.
Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance
