part editor alignment

Post by FredHirsch »

Is there an easy technique to aligning a geometry to the center of a square or rectangular panel? If I put a 2\" diameter circle on a square back panel, is there quick way to align to center, or do I need to figure the width height of the back panel and change the object move and move with the keyboard arrows?
Thanks,
Fred

You can use equations when entering the x,y coordinates. Just use the width divided by 2 and length divided by 2.

For example to center a circle on a 24\" x 24\" square, enter (24/2),(24/2) in the x,y coordintate box.
