I don\"t believe that the lesser cost of frameless cabinets is a major concern for my customers. I will make whatever my customer wants. It is a matter of personal preference. I do not see any need for face frames, and I do not think that they add any beauty to the cabinets. Most cabinet makers use overlay doors that hide some of the frame anyway. If you use inset doors and drawer fronts on custom furniture or cabinets, they might look better with face frames.

Those are two applied panels with a false decorative leg at the front. A skirt at the bottom join the two panels.
The cabinet is just below the sink and between those panels. That cabinet is completely without frame.
The whole thing is inspired by mission and shaker styles.
I found over the years that you can do just about anything with frameless.
I even build furniture with frameless unit and then you just add decorative panels and other parts that are related to a particular style.
Some time those pieces of furniture are pretty heavy.
Thanks Michael for the good words. Appreciation amongst cabinetmakers is very supportive because we all know that we don't work for the money.

Jean G Voyer,
I consider \"us\" as artists. I don't think that there is a \"canvas\" that can't be painted with a beautiful set of cabinets and be made into an amazing piece of work.
I am also an artist with most any medium to include oil and acrylics. And I have this quote that has encouraged me throughout the years.
\"A good artist can always cover up a mistake.\"
A blank canvas to me is a mistake as well as a room with drywall and pipes sticking out from the wall.
Let's paint some pictures. With cabinets.

FACE-FRAME ALL THE WAY
I personally can not stand frameless cabinets, I need more than just a bunch of doors to look at, and That is all you see with frameless. Plus if they want any kind of under-cab lighting you have to add a piece of molding or make 1/2 frameless-1/2 faceframe just an opinion.
