can't get door to have 1/2\" gap at bottom

can't get door to have 1/2\" gap at bottom

maybe this is a inset frame issue. No cabinet floor in this closet. When I set the bottom gap to 1/2\" it ( there is no bottom frame) it comes out flush, even though the door ht. in the door settings dialouge it shows the right ht.
