Can anyone please tell me why the wall with the cabinets on it is coming out dark when the wall to the right and the floor are beaming????

John,

I would check the Shine settings for the washed out floor and wall, as well as the Shine setting for the dark wall.

Mike, i have done all the usual checks - shine for both walls are set the same, i have played with light intensity and all to no avail.

John,
It is because of the light cans inside the cabinets. They create a shadow on the cabinet wall and reflect on the other wall creating the wash out. Below is how I would light this. Less is more in lighting.

That is how i would normaly light it but i really wanted to show what it would look like with down lights shining down the front of the doors and from under neath the overheads. Guess you cant have everything.

John,
Remove the washed out wall, move your overhead lights back and up the intensity a bit. Set all the light cans to 10%.
