There is no way to do a true elipse in ecabs. you may be able to create the geometry in cad and export to ecabs only I'm not sure it will machine. I'll take a try later.

An ellipse is technically a spline. Since eCabinets part editor does not support splines, you will have to create the appropriate size ellipse in another piece of cad/cam software such as AutoCad or Mastercam, and convert that spline to arcs. Once that is done, you can save it as a dxf and import it into the part editor. It will then work properly.

Thanks,

good luck with the elipse. i had to make one months ago and all i remember is that it took me many hours of frustration... and in the end i think it was someone else on the forum that was able to convert my autcad elipse into something ecabs could use for me.

Nemanja,

What are the actual dims on the elipse you are trying to make? I have Autocad and Acutrans. I may be able to help.
