loading multiple batches

Post by Mark Hesketh »

Is there a way to load multiple batch jobs into ecabs to create a single TWD file? Same kinda idea as creating an assembly out of mulitple cabinets, I want to create an \"assembly\" of batch jobs before writing the TWD file.

This way, it would make it easier to see exactly how many sheets of material I am going to need for certain runs, since we almost never load up just a single batch job to run at a time. It also means that the guy at the machine only has to find and load one file instead of multiples.

Just looking for a way to speed things up as much as I possibly can... schedule keeps getting tighter and tighter.

Mark,

I don't think you can load multiple batches to nest in Ecab, but you can load multiple batches and create one TWD file. After you hit the CNC button there is a button that says add jobs. You can add multiple jobs here and create one TWD file.

Mark,
Within the batch area Image ,you can load multiple cabinets or assemblies, then save as a Job. Then use the CNC button, Image, to load the multiple jobs and write the .TWD file.

hmm... should have thought of that. Would still love to be able to bring up multiple batches and nest them in ecabs, but I will take what I can get. Though you can go ahead and add this to the wish list for me :)

Thanks guys
