Hi there guys,
time for me to make a request about something that eCabinets should have. First of all you are doing a great job and I am even helping you sell more machines by promoting your products and services. Today I will be making another presentation of your software and our 3 axis machine. Hehe
Anyways I have to build a kitchen island and this thing is pretty much open on all sides. Doors and drawers on all four sides. It's 120\" long by 37 wide and 34 1/2 high. Of course it will consist of 3 sepatare units but still there's no standart cabinet template to take and work with. I noticed that you have some standart island cabinet in eCabinets but its very different from what I need and from what most of the islands look like.
Just to make everything clearer - the 2 cabinets at the ends have doors or drawers or wine racks on 3 sides and the middle cabinet has doors and drawer fronts on the front and back. Unfortunately I cant separate the island in half and create an island by aligning separate cabinets. What I need is a cabinet you could put doors or drawers on any side or at least 3 sides.
And I will add myself to the drawer box part editor wish list. It will be very handy for pull outs and for lets say wine racks.
Thank you guys. I am not expecting results. I am giving you just ideas so I would appreciate if you share some of yours as well

I just had some visitors from another company who came by to check your machine and they were pretty impressed with what I showed them. Some stuff on eCabinets, Controll Nesting and Profile Modeller, Mastercam and I wish I could show them Panelmetrix but I am sure that they will come back or may be we will take the training together when they get you machine. Haha. May be I wont be such a bad sales man.
The main thing was how userfriendly the hardware and the software is. Flexibility and detail options.
Good job guys

George I made my islands but I used all sorts of pannels to achieve the result that I want. Yours seem to be more complex and created using more than one cabinet inside another. In my case i am not really into the looks of the island itself because I will have to cut that thing on our machine. I see you dont have gables between the drawer boxes. So my guess is it's all separate cabinets and then you alligned them together to achieve the looks but that doesnt really help me. Anyways if you could give me a clue what technique you used may be I can use it next time I have to do something like that. Thanks man
