I have been tweaking this assembly (actually, two assemblies) for a client. I changed the molding at each side and replaced with a simple display cube, to make a flat molding.
Now I have a strange occurrence..those side moldings appear in everything but the final rendering. I have attached the \"before\" and \"after\" photos.
I deleted the upper cabinet assembly, and then added it back into the custom layout, but it still did the same thing.
I am also attaching the job file if someone wants to try it out themselves.

I took the assembly from the custom layout into the cabinet/assembly area. I then took the cubes (individually) into the parts editor...drew four connected lines into a rectangle 1\" wide and the full length, and then did a cut out fully through the piece, took it back into assembly editor. Made some other additions and changes unrelated to these display cubes, saved the assembly and then took it back into the custom room layout, where those two cubes didn't show up in the final rendering.
This morning I went back in, took the upper assembly back into the assembly editor, deleted those two display cubes, and put in new ones, with the final size I wanted, no parts editor cuts, placed where the old ones were. Took it back into the custom room layout and they showed up in the rendering. So it appears it was those parts editor cuts---but I decided not to stop there.
Wanting to press my luck, I went back into assembly editor, took the display cubes into part editor, and did a simple profile on one side of each one.
When I returned the first one back into the assembly editor, the overall length of the cube had increased----it still said it was 52 3/4\" long, but it was significantly longer than the other one. So, I did the second one, and all was fine---it stayed the same. Copied and pasted the correct one and put it where the magically longer one had been---moved the longer one off to the side to see how it rendered. Went back into the room layout, rendered it, the newly profiled displayed cubes rendered fine, as well as the newly elongated one.
So I guess in solving one problem, I created another one? Luckily, I can just delete that strange elongated display cube, but wanted to mention it in case someone wants to take a look at that.
