Idiot-proofing assembly with asymmetrical tenons

Post by Gene Davis »

I would really like the ability to make the tenons of stretcher and nailer parts asymmetrical, to enable the idiot-proofing of assembly work.

Please see the image here.

What is the workaround? I cannot find a way in eCabs.

Ignore the above. Sorry. I found out how.

And here is a pic of the result.

A working model of a "minimum material cost" basecab that is easy and fast to assemble, with a little idiot-proofing embedded in the parts design.

The 6mm back slides into full dado slots from the bottom.
