How do you price ?
Does anybody know how to get the price, that you give( a Bun Foot you get from some other site ) to show up in your things to buy? When you down load it to e Cab it ask for a price, but when you go to check to see if it is there it's not and I don't know where to find it .
Also is the cutlist that e Cab produces from the drawing and room layout dependable ?
Thanks Gary

Re: How do you price ?
Gary,
Open your Bun foot in the display part editor and then save it again. I the save dialog box enter a cost and then check the Cut List Part box.
This will cause eCabinets to add that cost each time you add that part.

Thanks Kerry,
I was just getting ready to shout out for help from you, I think I tried that and didn,t see it. But I will try again.
Have a big job to bid want to make a good impression with e Cab. Can you show a close up of a cabinet in a room and print it up? One room will have large entertainment center 140" Long X 114" High, and a mantel about 70" long X 114" High.
Thanks Gary

Re: How do you price ?
Gary,
Your bun foot will show up on the cost sheet under User Created.
It will not be itemized, it will just be grouped with all the other user created objects.
You can zoom in on any cabinet in Presentation View and save a jpg and print it.

I checked my cut list and there is a User created display parts and User created display objects and they are both empty nothing is showing up. When I saved the feet I made a folder that read Bunn Feet I put that folder in Display object directory.
Do have any idea whats going on?

The only thing I can think of is that the foot is not being saved with the cost in the display parts editor.
Make sure when you save the foot you have entered a dollar value in the Cost Box and that you have checked the Cut List Part box, then save the foot.
You might post the Bun Foot that you are trying to use.
Another thing to try is to open the foot in the cabinet editor and run a cost sheet to see if the pricing shows up.

Re: How do you price ?
Kerry,
When I put a $ sine in front to give it a dollar value it won't take it I have to just put the numbers.
Yes it did have the price when I did it in the Edit Cabinet area. But when I checked it in the Cost sheet and the cut list it was not there.

Re: How do you price ?
Kerry,
When I bring the foot up in cabinet editor and run a cost sheet the cost shows up, but when I bring the cabinet to the cabinet editor and run a cost sheet the feet are not there. I have tried associating the feet to the cabinet and it won't let me. When I add feet to a cabinet I have to save it as an assembly, right ?

Re: How do you price ?
Gary,
Just upload the foot as an atachment as you did the jpg image.
It will be a .hsf file (probably corner ogee foot.hsf)

Re: How do you price ?
Gary,
You should be able to associate the foot to the cabinet.
Double click the cabinet to highlight it
Click on the foot to highlight it
Right click and choose Associations then Associate to cabinet
repeat for the other feet to associate them
(you can associate one foot then copy and past the rest if you want.)
Save this as a cabinet

Kerry,
Found out what the problem was, I had other feet in a different folder that I was using and they were not given a dollar amount. Just being a ROOKIE I guess thanks for taking the time to help.
