Assembly Marks

Just one question about the assemble marks. On this stretcher. It has assembly marks in areas where the material is not wide enough to have them so they run off the part. In this particular case, Part A will not cover the marks on part B.

It did it to me one time they ran all over the floor.You know how long it took me to pice them up off the floor

Open the assembly marks editor find the stretcher and find the edge that has too many and click on the pattern. A drop box will appear and you can change its pattern but beware that you can change it to a pattern that is already being used by another part too.

I think I should be able to differentiate between the big parts and the little parts, so I should be able to make this work. I personally like this idea because I normally get mad at my assembler when the parts get flipped over. Me being the assembler most of the time. I am glad I have dual personalities so I don't feel like I am getting mad at myself too much.

We ran into the same thing. Nothing worse than gluing a cabinet together, only to find out a shelf or partition was flipped the wrong way. This is how the assembly marks came about. Not only does it prevent incorrect assembly, it also speeds up the assembly process because you don't have to keep looking at a print....if you even need one anymore.
There will be a video about the assembly marks in the very near future. I'll try to post it in here when it is ready.
