My post didn't have any point to it anyway. Keep the discussion going. I do think that the only way to make any money building beaded face frame is to tool up like Jean did.

For arrows open your image in Irfanview (the eCabinets Image Control) and hit the F12 key on your keyboard. This opens the Paint dialog box where there are line and arrow tools. Choose a color, then choose the arrow tool, click and drag.

You can go to the Irfanview folder in eCabinets and create a shortcut to the Irfanview .exe and place it on your desktop so that you don't have to open ecabinets every time you want to use Irfanview.

Thanks but how do you get the drawing to show up in the image control. I was trying it with just a standard base cabinet and all that showed up was a bunch of writing. I all so tried to copy and paste and that didn't work

Isn't that dove tail connection a pretty pricey machine? Yes that is a lot faster than pocket screws

We spent $20,000 Canadian when we did that but we had a job of close to half million that needed a lot of bead frame and that job paid for the equipment.
That include the shaper that I didn't have. We tried pocket screws but the results weren't as good as the dovetail. My guys had trouble with the dovetail at the beginning because they didn't insert it in both pieces together at the same time. If you do a lot of bead frame it's worth the expense because of the time you save. It's like before and after you buy an edgebander or a wide belt sander. The time you save help pay for the expense rapidly.

I was just thinking do you set your face frames on edge and use your router to cut the haunches?

You can use the the save image button (the camera) to save the image and then open it using the Image control. You can use the Print Screen key on your keyboard then past it into Irfanview and crop it or you can open Irfanview and then hit the C key on your keyboard to open the Screen Capture Dialog. Set it to capture the foreground window or the foreground client area and tell it where to save the images then you can just use your ctrl key plus the F11 key to capture images. It will capture whatever is on the screen each time you hit this.

Well that leaves me out , remember because of vista my camera doesn't work. In order for me to save an image I have to create a wall in the room layout then load the image in the room and render. That's the only way I can capture anything

Try the Screen Capture utility in Irfanview. It might work since Irfanview is a separate software. I am sure it must be Vista compatible. You can go to the Irfanview website and download the latest version.

I got the image to come up in irfanview still have to practice with the arrows downloading the latest version is what did it. Still had to get the image from a rendering
