Grain on / off

This is not a big deal but would be nice if it were easily accomplished....
Is there a way to turn the grain on or off for selected parts of a cabinet. For example, We really do not care which way the grain goes on toe kick boards since they get covered anyway, or top stretchers, etc. If we could turn the grain on or off for these parts then the router could nest them more efficiently on the sheet and put them in where ever they fit regardless of grain direction.
Is this already in the software somewhere and I jsut don't know it? I know it exists in the material set up region as well as you can rotate grain in construction settings but I do not see if you can tell it "I don't care which way the grain goes" for any one part of a cabinet.

You can change the grain direction. from 0 to 179 degrees

What Rob is asking is if it's possible to have eCabs mark those parts so CN will ignore the grain direction and therefore rotate them automatically for best yield. I've thought about this before and believe it'd be a very useful addition. Anyone else think this would be handy?

I guess us 3 are the only ones who like this idea. I am going to put it on the "suggestions" board to do exactly what Jeremy said. I am often tossing out chunks of plywood that could be used for parts that are not grain sensitive (toe boards or whatever). I just think this would not be that hard to do but would save real money in material costs with immediate payback.

toe kicks, strechers, MAYBE even backs in base cabs, who actually gets down and looks at the grain direction on backs of base cabs,espescially a drawer stack! I use bunks of clearcote maple plywood and I definetly could see a savings with that material in particular.
I will post this as a suggestion also, see if we cab get a Hmmmmmm out of them.....

Can I suggest again this be added to the next version list of desirable enhancements? If this is easily done, it would have an immediate impact on the efficiency of using materials and profitability of the members actually cutting out parts on a router or as cut list. I am uncertain the difficulty but it seems a simple thing that has very tangible results.
I know you get peppered with lots of requests, but just asking for consideration.
