Problem with cams

Post by jason galbraith »

Hi we use rarfix connector cams and the problem we have is that when we put a shelf in against an end panel the holes sit below the shelf, so if i put a shelf in at say 150mm from the bottom of a cabinet then when the cam is put in and then put in the cabinet, its real height is say 142.

I have tried using the hole editor to move the cam pin (it has to move up the 8mm that it is really out) when i go to nest it, the hole over laps the cam hole, and the machine wants to rout it out rather than drill the 5 mm hole. It leaves a half moon type hole noted by the big funny circle around it in the picture.

Hard to explain so, I've attached pics. Hope someone can help. I am using the wedgefix hole pattern. If someone has a pattern that works, could you post it here please or any solutions.

regards

Jason

Forget it all, we had a weird library problem, the original hole pattern works fine:)
