We've created a couple of videos demonstrating the superior performance of the New CabinetShop 43 in a variety of applications.
The first is the Carving of an inset carving, and the second is Cabinet Cutting:
About the CabinetShop 43: The CabinetShop 43 offers premium performance not normally seen at this price point. For example, it has positioning speeds to 3,180 inches per minute and programmed cutting speeds to 2,250 Inches per minute. The actual speed at which you can cut is determined more by tooling and material than by the machine, but its speed is indicative of the overall solid CNC performance of the CabinetShop 43.

So this is the Lamborgati Fasterosa of the Thermwoods. Looks really nice and sturdy. Can you customize it? You know pimp it up - put a big spoiler and pain in yellow metallic?
I meant make it wider, longer, add tool changers, and peripheral gadgets. Stuff like that.

Re: CabinetShop 43 Performance Videos
Georgi,
This machine is a grand experiment in a totally new way for us to make machines. Instead of using expensive steel tubing, we start with a sheet of steel and laser cut all the parts which then interlock, like a blind dado on a cabinet. The base is then welded and stress relieved. The result is a very strong, stiff structure that is also lower cost. Currently we start with a full sheet of steel and there is but a handful of material left over. This technique can be used for other sized machines but it is not quite as easy as cutting a tube off at a different length. There is an extensive amount of engineering analysis when even the smallest change is made. So the answer to your question is that if this product is successful and sufficient demand develops for modified versions we will likely spend the time and effort needed to satisfy those needs. As for appearance, we already offer it in a variety of accent colors and any good custom car shop can supply the yellow metallic you are looking for. Be sure to post pictures!

Re: CabinetShop 43 Performance Videos
Hey Ken, any thoughts about coming out with a small shop version of the 43? Something to handle 49" x 97" sheets with a lower voltage (like 220V) would be nice. Personally I can't ever see the need for a 5 x 10 machine.
Thanks,
Joe

Re: CabinetShop 43 Performance Videos
That's a fine looking machine... should I be looking to get rid of my beloved CS41 and get this instead? How does it compare to the 41?
