Slab Cabinet doors

Post by Nick Rizzo »

Is there a trick to adding slab doors that you can build in house like in version 5. I don't have the option in the door designer. I have the option for all other doors but slab

Thanks

Nick,

Have you tried taking your cabinet into the Door/ Drawer Editor?

Once in the D/DE
1.click the Door/Drawer Selection button then
2. under select source: Conestoga > Standard
3. scroll down to the MDF Standard Door

There is an option to the right of the door when it is selected to "Build in House"

Hope this helps!

The build in house option for slab doors will be included in the next update.

do you have any idea when the next update will be? I am working on a large commerical project that has 3/4" hard rock maple door with 3mill pvc edges that have to be cabinet matched.

Thanks

Nick,

Would it work for you to add an existing 3mm slab door/drawer front to the library, and when you call them up in the Door/Drawer Editor, change the banding and door material to ones with the textures that you needed? Here are my generic 3mm door and drawer front, that imported from V5 with my other items, and seem to work fine.
