Hi guys
Below are some other points I have noticed
I can add shelves to frameless CNR units in the cabinet editor directly from the cabinet editor and save. But when I take wall or floor corner units from room layout to the cabinet editor and try and add shelves I get an error message and cannot save the changes.
Also as I noted in my previous post, has it been reported the decimal point and sizing discrepancies in the position on floor metric sizes?
And I had applied some part editor cuts to the 1200mm appliance cabinet in the corner. A 55 mm frame around the roller shutter, and saved and they have gone south as well, if you take the cabinet from the room to the Cab editor and go back into the parts editor you can retrieve the error messages.
And lastly any idea why my cabinets are being placed 2mm below floor level? I checked the settings and so far can’t work out why
Any pointers appreciated.
Thanks guys

Your upper corner cabinet worked OK for me. I had problems with your base corner.
To fix your base corner
Take your corner cabinet from the room into the cabinet editor
Double click the cabinet to select it
Right click and choose
Remove Part Editor Cuts/from entire cabinet
Click yes to the prompt
The cabinet will re-generate and fix the missing part bodies and you can then add shelves
This will remove any part editor cuts you have done and you will have to redo them.
I think the problem placing your cabinets 2mm below the wall line may have something to with your having walls that are only 2mm tall. I think this would confuse the software.
Hi Kerry
Thanks for taking the time to look at the job. I really appreciate it.
I see what you mean by the 2mm high walls. It not only confuses the software it also confuses me. I was sure I was adding 2400 high walls. Next time I know what to look for in elevation and render mode.
Thanks for the tip on the parts editor clearance selection. I just pulled an old faithful out of a library, but I had no idea I had been messing with it before. As for the top CNR cabinet I must have overwritten it from the cabinet editor before I uploaded. Sorry about that.
The Incorrect mm or decimal point display thing I still can’t work out. But if I can get the correct size entered by using the elevation view, a calculator and the Shift move increment tool. I can work around it.
Thanks again for your help
I think the programmers have found a certain sequence of moves in eCabinets (I can't remember exactly what) that can cause a cabinet to lose "Part Bodies" The loss of the part bodies to the cabinet in your room is what was causing the problem with your cabinet. Removing part editor cuts and letting the cabinet re-generate fixes this problem but if it were a cabinet with a lot of part editor cuts it could be a bit of a problem to fix.
