When I upgraded to v6.3 I did so on a new computer. Do I have to move all the hinges and slides as well as the hole patterns or should they be in the system as they are in my old computer running V5? All I get is an empty list when I go to add hardware.
Thanks
Lorin

Re: slides and hinges
stuck them all on thumb drive and moved them. Didn't bother with the images. I just like them for the buy list and the hole patterns. Sure having trouble getting the hinges to add to the cabinets but it appears after searching the forum I am not the only one.

Re: slides and hinges
Lorin,
If you add a door or drawer front to your cabinet it will add any associated hardware and hole patterns to your cabinet automatically. If you want to add other hardware items to a cabinet to be saved be sure to double click on your cabinet in the Cabinet Editor to select the cabinet (green highlight around the entire cabinet) and then click Cabinet Buy List in the Item window.
In the Item Window make sure you are clicking the Add Items to Cabinet button at the bottom of the page and not the Add Items to Assembly button at the top.
Clicking Add Items to Cabinet will save the items with the cabinet
Clicking Add Items to Assembly will only save the items if you save the cabinet as an Assembly.
If you select the cabinet in the cab editor and use the Add Items to Cabinet button you shouldn't have any problems.
