I'm still working my way thru ecabs tutorials, though have cut several cabinets using the basics.
Right now I need to make a triangular corner shelf and hutch and looking for suggestions as it seems to be beyond what I've learned so far. It will have a rustic face frame on the front, but just need to be able to cut the carcass pieces.
I've created the attached by starting with a upper corner cabinet then setting the sides to .1" wide and gives me a pretty close approximation of what I'm looking for, but get an error writing the .twd file.
Is there another way I should construct this type of corner shelf?
With a little more testing, it seems the corner cabinet is not the problem. I'm getting a 8009000b CryptAquireContext error when I try to write a .twd file for any cabinet including those that have worked in the past or std cabinets. These are first jobs I've tried since upgrading to 6.4
I don't know what the error is at the TWD file but for your cabinet you can use a corner cabinet and remove the ends and add negative insets to the top deck and shelves to make them work.
Here is an upper angle. You may need to add a negative inset to the left and right backs to make your construction and doors work the way you want them.
Thanks Kerry. I'll play around with it as soon as I get back in shop.
Still having the error, I'll call thermwood in a couple days when I get done with an install.
