dbx bug?

Post by Josh Rayburn »

load job
nest
look at drawer box parts in nest (screen shot of what I'm getting is attached)

I did not see this result nesting the job a few minutes ago, so the last thing i did was to replace the drawer boxes with drawer fronts in the room
i chose a new dbx, edgebanded it, did a rebuild, saved it, then clicked 'set default'
nested again, this is what i got - bug?
I will get it resolved for cnc but this might be worth a look...?

ok, so after that, go back to the room
select all cabinets
adj features - change dbx with dwf again
message: cannot change drawer boxes because there are none

the dbx part bodies are all missing

take a cabinet with dbx's to the CE (i took a 3 drawer base, one on the 'island' on the lower right of the screen)
check for part bodies - 54
remove part editor cuts from entire cabinet
message: 'drawer box width is 0 - the drawer box will now be removed from the cabinet'
now they're gone

go to door / dwf editor
remove drawers
replace drawers again
check for bodies - 64

I've also attached the "offending" drawer box file, assuming that's the culprit

I talked with Josh on the phone about this and together we have reproduced it. I will investigate further and let everyone know the details when I narrow down the exact cause. Thanks Josh...
