Stacking Parts Off Thermwood

Hey Hows it all going?

Just wanting to know what other users do to stack parts off the thermwood. E.g What trolleys do you guys use and what the best way to sort out all the different parts LIKE in a kitchen- with so many parts how do you sort them out?

We use two of these and are building another two over the chrissy break, They have wheels so can be loaded up with a job and moved round. At present we can get 4 jobs in 2 carts if we stack it right

Each section holds all the parts for one cabinet wih the end sections holding any tall panels.

One of these racks has no wheels and is screwed to a bench, the open back allows the operator to edge band the parts and stack them in on one side, while the assembler on the other sidecan pull the parts through when making them.

The other sit to the end of this one and has wheels so we can move it when we need access to that part of the shed.

I bought a few Lateral parts carts from \"ShopCarts\". They were about $265. ea. but worth every penny. They help me separate parts by cabinet and roll really well on my uneven shop floor.

Yes we had one of those (who know who told us about them!) But found it to big to move around when fully loaded. i might look at making a smaller one.

Hey Thom Shhh heheheh guess the same place we got them from, we don't need to move them far, just enough to get them out of the way so the foirk can get in to reload the whiteboard.

The only problem I have with them is corner decks and shelfs, some of the big ones hang out the side and topple over.

Also the numbering in eCabinets get a bit screwed up, you get Cab 1,2,3,4 then Cab B1,B2.....hard to guess where to put everything.

The last few times I have nested four jobs together and stacked it all in two racks and it keeps you on your toes when feeding the parts through the edgebander, trying to find the location to get back in time so the next part doesn;t fall off the edgbander.

I use these, they work really well with 4 castors on the bottom.

The ShopCarts that Glenn shows are the ones that I bought. After all of the cutting is done, I restack horizontally on a flat cart. This take up much less space.
