I am putting a bathroom in a basement and need to show the steps leading down to the basement. Does anyone have an idea on how to draw some steps?
I am using the drawing to submit for the permit.

Gary, could you once again use the cabient as a building block for everything and make the bottom step a 36" wide x 6" tall x 8"deep cabinet, then 2nd step be a 36 x 12 x 8, 3rd step is 36 x 18 x 8, and so on, stacking them up to build a stairway?
Just a thought.

Use a display cube. You can get as detailed as you wish.
Here is one I did several versions back the way Rob describes.

Gary,
You could actually use a display board to cut your stringer then copy and paste,
use a display board to cut and profile your treads and risers then copy and paste and you would have a cut list.
