So the Profile Modeler does work
My experience is with Architectural Millwork I have no experience cutting cabinet doors But I have cut some very fine Mohogany Church Doors. Most of the jobs I cut for other people are big thick radiused moldings, some profiled on 2 sides such as Bar Rails
Most of my conversation with Forest concerned tooling and Settings in PM
I use roughing cutters for most of my operations in PM
Tool-1 3/4 dia. 4" LOC, 16000 RPM,100 to 300 IPM, this is strickly my outline tool
Tool-2 3/4 Dia. 4 flute Ball Nose Rougher, 16000 RPM 1000 IPM Start with the feed rate control turned down and then start bumping it up a little at a time
With 1/4" max cut and 1/8 stepover this cutter will run 1200 IPM in White Oak no problem
Tool-3 1/2 Dia. Ball Nose Rougher same settings as above
Tool-4 1/8 Dia Ball Nose and with .02 step over this tool will also run at 1000 IPM
These Ball Nose Roughers when set to .02 or .03 step over leave a very good finish
