We are very disappointed to here Control nesting will only recognize 2 of the 4 regions, Daniel when will we be able to work with multiple regions in the nest!
I make my fluted panels as a cabinet back with 1/4" partitions. I replace my 1/4" endmill bit with a 1/2" round nose bit. I don't do a chamfer on the edges but you should be able to use a 45 degree chamfer bit as a custom tool. Another option would be to do the chamfer as a rabbet and switch another tool(1/8"endmill?) for yours chamfer bit. Hope this helps. Sometimes you have to lie a little and think outside the box.

I apologize. There was some confusion with my first post so I corrected it. Control nesting will see multiple regions but only has the ability to use a custom tool on the first 2 regions. Again, I'm sorry for the earlier confusion.
Brian,
I use part editor and then swap tools, kind of the same thing.
I just do it in the code instead of physically.
I will some day probably steal your idea, thanks
