Hello,
I installed build 8 today and am now unable to start the software at all. I previously had build 7 on my computer. I did not receive any errors during the download or install process so I assumed I had a clean install. I tried the fixes for the known issues described on the site. I re-installed a few times but am still unable to start the software. As soon as i click to start it I get a Windows dialog box that tells me the software has stopped working. Has anyone experienced this? Am I missing something?
By the way I am on Windows 7.
Thanks in advance

You will have to open the event viewer to get the error message. So try to start ecabinets and let it crash. Then get the error from the event viewer. The easiest way to do this is to select Start, then RUN. Type eventvwr.msc and press ENTER. Under Windows Logs, select Application, and then find the 'X' that details the problem.
You should be able to highlight the text in this window and then press <ctrl><C> to copy the text. Paste this into your post for review.

atioglxx.dll is the dll that is crashing. It an AMD/ATI video card driver. You need to goto amd.com and download the newest driver for your video card. Once that new driver is installed, you should be able to run ecabinets.
