Re: Creating custom doors
It could be done this way.
I'm don't know if its the best way
I constrained the grooves in the constraint manager.
For every size unit you would need about 100 mm leeway. So a 410mm unit has 3 grooves. (Have to think cup holes, about 55mm from edge)
The formula i used to constrain the edge was W/2 -150.
Where 150 = the width of the grooves /2
I didn't tidy up the cut paths.

Re: Creating custom doors
Hi Alex
Yes I did. You can download the vdoor.hsf and put it in your cabinets directory. It might give you an idea on how to do it. You also need to make a cutter or .tol file for the v groove.
If you really want to learn how to do it properly and haven't spent much time in those areas I would join up to the Ecabs training videos for a month or so.
Dennis makes it all pretty simple,There are a few processes and he breaks them down into 5, 10 15 or 20 minute tutorials.
If you have a machine it would be essential to view them to get the most out of it.
Hope this helps

Re: Creating custom doors
I just saw some options in the Conestoga doors that look quite familiar to what you're after. might be worth a look...
I was hoping to find some direction on how to layout passage and entry doors in ecabs. I've tried stretching out a couple cabinet doors, and they just don't turn out right

Re: Creating custom doors
For entry doors I take a cabinet, remove everything but the face frame and resize it accordingly for my door frame.
Depending on the type of panels, I use either the door editor or display panels.
