Does it do it with the Standard Slab door or just your door(s)?

Re: eCabinets 6.2.11.1 update
Can you take the Standard Framed or Framless cabinet and get me exact steps of what you are doing to get the error? I haven't had any issues or reports from other users so we need to narrow down exactly what is going on. Using a standard cabinet from the Standard library along with the Standard Slab door that come with eCabinets is a best case test so we can narrow the issue.

Re: eCabinets 6.2.11.1 update
Hi Clint and Ingbert.
Clint, I know you are not allowed to read novels at work but I wrote a lengthy assessment of the problem here.
viewtopic.php?p=82890#p82890
Fortunately I think the time I put in trying to find this nasty little sucker may have paid off.
Reading Ingberts post jogged something in the memory bank.
Open ecabs.
Go to the cabinet editor.
Go to the door designer.
Load the standard slab door.
Notice that it has edging.
Leave the edging on, (Just because I didn't really notice the edging)
Take the door to the part editor.
Put some sort of outer profile edge on 4 edges.
Return to the door designer
Change the preview size from the standard size, I change it from the 600mm to 730mm.
Hopefully you can see the edging hasn't resized with the door.
I get the same result with drawers. Maybe this is the problem.
Just yesterday I deleted both my custom drawer and door folders to start afresh because I had run out of ideas.
I have quite a few jobs with these messed up doors, I haven't yet worked out if this stays attached to the cabinet even when you change the doors, or if it clears when you change them with healthy doors.
In the attached link to the previous post, I put up 4 cabinets that were having problems and as I described in the video the edge banding was showing up when I changed the material at the 35 second mark.
Hope this helps
Mark

Re: eCabinets 6.2.11.1 update
PS to the above, I,m not sure but I think If you use global modification to change the doors the edging hangs around in the background.

Re: eCabinets 6.2.11.1 update
Mark,
Those doors are broken, there is information missing from them in their saved file. Those error messages are not ones you want to push through and continue work, it will only get worse. I'd suggest new door/drawer designs, Global Item Modification your library of cabinets, and see where you are when the dust settles. Make sure the check the box for Change Default when you use GIM so that old door/drawer is gone completely.
I am not getting the same issue when profiling the standard slab door and the edge banding being wonky. Before doing the above you may want to verify your graphics card driver is up to date so it is not making you work in circles.

Re: eCabinets 6.2.11.1 update
Hi Clint.
Thats a good idea to change all the doors in the directories.
Deleting my door files was as far as I had gone so far.
My graphic driver is the latest and all up to date.
Ive played around with the forced rendering and double buffering but it doesn't change things.
Can anyone else reproduce what I am seeing?
My description mightn't be the greatest but I can make those doors and drawer fronts play up every time as shown in this clip.
https://youtu.be/V8u3DRbQGTg
The more you start messing with the edging and profile cuts the more it starts to show up.
It has something to do with the profile edge being applied with the edge tape on.
In this screen shot the profile is getting cut in half.
That should be a proper thumb edge but its been saved in a cut in half format.
Where it cuts into the door with no edge tape the profile has changed from a thumb roll over to a cut off thumb roll over. A simple fix might be to make it so a profile edge cant be applied to an edged door.
Also the remove a profile cut or a geometry cut from an edged door doesn't work properly in the part editor.
If you try and remove the edge with edge tape it throws the message ( "The selected edge cannot be removed. the bordering edges do not intersect")
It can appear to be removing profiles or edges but returning to the door designer and messing with the preview size shows up issues Any way. If anyone else can play around in that area so I can feel better that its just me seeing fairies,
I would appreciate it.
I apologize for not being able to write it all down nice and concise.
Thanking you
Mark

Hi Ingbert.
If you have a chance, could you try and create the error I am getting on your machine.
Thanks
Mark.
