Offfalls cutting into parts

Post by Jeremy Schiffer »

I haven't seen anyone mention this yet with 5.59, but we just cut our first job with it today, and several of the offfalls overlapped the parts, both on the nesting diagram AND on the actual material, therefore the parts were cut when the machine cut the offfall. Looking at the nest diagram, it's like the offfall portion of the sheet has been shifted toward machine home by an inch or two.

We're using metric if that makes any difference. Let me know if I need to post the export or if you need more information.

I'm not sure who would have said this is known, but I have checked with our engineering group and this item is not listed as an issue. Please submit supporting files (EXPORT, .esj, .hsf, .esa, etc...) to: program@thermwood.com for further review.

Thanks!
