5 piece door construction method

hello to all, when making 5 peice doors, (which i normally order them except when i am low on work, etc) i mill the rails & stiles oversize length & width from rough stock & then plane them to thickness & then cut to actual length & width to avoid warpage etc of the doors. in the software, it seems the procedure would be to order 'sticks' the total linear feet necc & chop out the door parts. am i correct? it would be nice to be able to specify a scrap % amount in the program so when i order bf it would account for the way i make the doors. any feedback on this? thanks in advance!
