Nesting assemblies

Our company is using ecabinets for a while now and we tried this week to use the nesting fonction to ameliorate our production.

What we do usualy is to developp assemblies using standard cabinets that we copy multiple times and that we modify. When the job is completed we save the project under a new name in the assembly directory.

When we then open the assembly and try to nest it nothing appears on the screen.

What are we doing wrong ...
and what are we suppose to do step by step to use the nesting function.

To create a nest diagram you must either create a custom layout (room) or use batch cabinets.

For your purposes it would probably be easiest to use batch. Just click on the \"Batch Cabinets\" icon then add whatever assemblies you want nested.

Once you have added everything to your batch, click the \"Perform Nest\" button.

I just noticed that the picture I posted has the wrong icon circled for batch--it is actually the icon to the left of that which is circled.
