transfering job files to a laptop

What is an easy way to transfer job files from my desktop to my laptop for presentations?

I realize that Gene's response seems obvious, but that's what I'd do, too, based on the wording of your OP.

how do you get the file onto the memory stick?

You copy it from the appropriate eCabinets directory.

Greg,
You will need to find the directory that your jobs are saved in. Mine is in C/eCabinets/Jobs

When you find the directory you locate the job. It will be Your Job.esj

You can right click and copy the job and then go to the location of your removable drive which is probably My computer/ whatever drive

You can most likely right click on the job and then choose Send To and then select the drive.

After copying the job files transfer the drive to the laptop then locate the drive and copy the files and place them in the laptop eCabinets/Jobs file.
