Dado for partition

Post by Gary Puckett »

Does anybody know how to put a full dado in the deck and top for a partition?

I have went to the partition setting and told it full dado top and bottom and it did nothing.

Gary,
If it is an existing partition, highlight it then go to construction settings and change the parameters to full dado and click OK. The cabinet will re-generate with the full dado.

I normally use the Thermwood to route full dados on a big job, but if it is just a small job, a jig and a small hand held will work fine. :joker:

Do you still have this cabinet file where the partition will not change? If you do, please email it to me. Where you in the shelf partition editor or in the main when trying to make the changes?
