Re: Texture fill on display cube

I think it's still weird what happened to my texture after the contour cutout. I've got a feelling that's going to come back and hunt me on a next project :)

But for the desk-top, I think I see the light! No more display cubes to build countertops. I love this forum! Thanks Damon

Re: Texture fill on display cube

Damon,

Thanks for the advice. That is a good option, only that I need the 45% to start about 8" inside of the outer cabinets. Either way I think I can make that happen using cabinets that are deleted after, or raised into the countertop as you did.

It still leaves me with the weird situation that ...

Re: Texture fill on display cube

Todd,

What I'm building here is basically a desk, the top you see in the back streches over a cabinet on one side, and a metal frame will support the top to hang "free" for the rest of it. I'm doing this for presentation purpose only, after all there is only 1 very basic standard cabinet in the ...

Texture fill on display cube

I need a countertop that streches over some cabinets. I can't get the countertop editor to do it, so I made a display cube of the countertop size and took it to the part editor. I applied a contour cutout, and took it back. Now my texture is stretched in a strange way on one side of the display cube ...

Re: Creating end panels

I did find the option before to attach panels in the custom layout (if it’s not a catalog cabinet). I thought the way Kerry does it gives more flexibility.
My problem was that I work frameless,… When I remove the sides of the cabinet there was nothing left. With face frames I can keep the frame and ...

Creating end panels

I see that some people, in my specific case Kerry, use end panels to finish the sides of visible wall or base cabinets. When hovering over the different parts in his layouts, I noticed that these end panels are considered actual individual cabinets by ecabinet systems.
I don’t have a clue how to ...

hardware requirements

I’m going to get a new computer and want to make sure it’s the best to run ecabinet software. I’ve seen some posts but can’t really find a thread on what’s best.
I remember reading something about the program not using dual core or quad? Then there is the matter of windows not using more than 3gb ...

Resizing appliances

Hi, I need to resize some of the standard appliances that came with the software. Is there any way I can do this? I looked through the forum, the manuals and the menus buy I don’t find the option. Can someone help me out?

Thanks

Re: Sample kitchen?

Yes, those presentations are great. For now it's my dream to be able to do all this in eCabinet systems myself one day. Are there any similar designs available for download anywhere so I can study them?

Thanks for the help.

Re: Sample kitchen?

Mike,

Thanks for the offer! I agree that the less you show the client on paper, the better. I also find myself making a great presentation and then being stuck having to build it :) Better to stick to those things in the showroom you have build before. But unfortunately, I don't have the big ...

Sample kitchen?

I’ve been busy learning eCabinets. It’s getting better all the time!
A great help would be to be able to look at someone’s finished project.
Is it possible to download a kitchen somewhere in eCabinets that has a lot of bells and whistles? Something I could take apart, try to understand, learn from ...

Kerry, thanks for the cabinet. It does prove your point. I'll use this as a seed cabinet to start the rest of my basic setup. I haven't really lost that feeling yet that there is something \"mystic\" going on, but it's starting to clear up.

Now I'm off on the quest adding euro hinges and hafele ...
